HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-77-0342RESOLUTION NO _ 77.'14 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF 8310 CHIEF, INC,IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,941 FOR THE CHEVRON STATION DEMOLITION - 77 (SECOND BIDDING); ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF $5,941 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "PARKS FOR PEOPLE BOND FUND" TO COVER THE CONTRACT COST; ALLOCATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $653 TO COVER THE COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $400 TO COVER THE COST .OF SUCH ITEMS AS ADVERTISING, TESTING LABORATORIES, POSTAGE; AND AUTHORIZING THE ` CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH L)()C '; SAID FIRM v WHEREAS, sealed bids were received April 5, 1977 for THE CHEVRON STATION DEMOLITION 77 (SECOND BIDDING) ; and WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $5,941 bid of Big Chief, Inc. is the lowest responsible bid and recommends that a Contract be awarded to said firm; and WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from the account entitled "Parks for People Bond Fund" for the proposed amount of the Contract, for Project Expense, and for such items as Advertising, Testing Laboratories, Postage. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the April 5, 1977 bid of Big Chief,Inc. in the proposed amount of $5,941 for the project entitled CHEVRON STATION DEMOLITION - 77 (SECOND BIDDING), namely Base Bid of Proposal, based on lump sum bid be, and the sari i vt e5et? That the amount of $5,941 be, and it is hereby, allocated from the account entitled "Parks for People Bond Fund" to cover the proposed cost of the Contract, Section 3.
