water tank on City property adjacent to. 0.tl. 20th :street and
N.W. 12th Avenue to permit the relocation of City operations and
equIp.:ent due to the construction of a new Heavy Equipment Service •
Facility and modifications to• the old 1ty••Inci.nerator building,;
and
WHEREAS, bids or quotations have been obtained from several
demolition contractors; and
WHEREAS, the Cit;J I•Iarlrp'e'r reportS that the Price submitted
by subject firm is the lowest responsible bid or quotation received.
and recommends that a contract be awarded to. said firm; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for the proposed amount of the
contract for project eXpen; es, and incidental costs;

Resolution Awarding Contract
In order to accommodate the relocation of City operations and
equipment due to the construction of the new Heavy Equipment
.Service Facility and the modifications to the old City
Incinerator hu1lding5 it 13 necessary to immediately accomplish
the demolition of an txit1nr reinforced concrete water tank.
This action is considered to be emergency in nature so that no •
delay will occur' in the constrction of the new Heavy Eq4pment•
