A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A PERMIT TO
EPIEON CENTER INTERNATIONAL MASONS
FOR AMUSEMENT RIDES IN CONNECTION WITH ITS CARNIVAL
TO BE HELD AT 5801 N. W. 7th AVENUE
ON bECEMBER 1ST THROUGH DECEMBER 11TH, 1977SUBJECT TO
CERTAIN TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. A permit is hereby authorized to be issued

for amusement rides in connection with its Carnival at
5801 N. W. 7th Avenue on December 1 through December 11, 1977

to the following terms and conditions:
1. Such use shall not be established for a period
exceeding 15 days, nor shall any one location
be used more than once every 90 days.
The operators of the amusement rides shall obtain
the necessary licenses, permits and Certificates
of Use.
. Small tents shall be permitted only to carry on
ride activities.
4. The operators of the amusement rides will provide
separate sanitary facilities for both male and
female patrons.
lN9 EX The operators and employees of the rides will not
�. „domicile on the property.
6. No alcoholic
beverages may be sold on the premises.
7. The City of Miami Police Department will be contacted
and the number of off -duty policemen that the Depart-
ment feels are necessary to direct traffic and provide
for security will be employed by the permit holder.
8. Operations must conform to noise level requirements
as set forth by the Director of the Building Department.

A request to hold a carnival at 5801 V. W. 7th Avenue
December. 1, through December 11, 1977 has been made by
the Edison Center Masons. The request meets the
requirements of Ordinance 46871. A draft resolution
is attached.
