A RESOLUTION AUTHORIzING THt CITY MANAGER
TO ACCEPT A GRANT AWARD ?ROM THt FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND REHABILITATION SEA=
VICES, RETARDATION PROGRAM OFFICE, FOR A
THERAPEUTIC RECREATION SPECIALIST PROGRAM
AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING TIE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE THE NECESSARY CONTRACTS AND AGREE-
MENTS TO IMPLEMENT THE PROGRAM UPON RECEIPT
OF THE GRANT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized
to accept a grant award from the Florida Department of Health
and Rehabilitation Services, Retardation Programs Office for
a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist Program.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized
to execute the necessary contracts and agreements to implement
a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist Program upon receipt of the
grant.
