A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF D,MP► CORPORATION
IN THE AMOUNT OF $448)198140 FOR WYNDWOOD PAVING
PROJECT PHASE II B.0407 AND WYNDWOOD SANITARY
SEWER MODIFICATIONS m PHASE IT B..5425; ALLOCATING
THE AMOUNT OF $216,021482 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED
"HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT BOND FUND" AND THE AMOUNT OF
$90,042,79 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED ",STORM ,SEWER BOND
FUNDS" ; AND USING $150,000 PROGRAMMED THROUGH THE
"COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM" TO COVER THE CONTRACT
COST, PROJECT, AND INJCIDENTAL EXPENSES; ALLOCATING
$30099.52 FROM "HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT BOND FUND"; AND
$12,546,22 FROM "STORM SEWER BOND FUND" TO COVER THE
COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING $5,472.66 FROM "HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT BOND FUNDS" AND $2,280.99 FROM "STORM SEWER
ND FUNDS" TO COVER THE COST OF SUCH ITEMS AS ADVERTISING,

WHEREAS, sealed bids Wore received March 21 1977 for
WYNDWOOD PAVING G PROJECT �-
PHASE II B-4407 AND WYNDWOOD SANITARY
SEWER MODIFICATIONS - PHASE TT 51125; and
WHEREAS, the Ci`: J1anai7er reports that the $448,198.40 bid
of D.M.P. Corporation is the lowest responsible bid for Bid "A",
Bid "r" and Bid "C" of the Proposal and recommends

WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from the account
entitle, "rri rhway Improvement Bond Funds", and "Storm Sewer Bond
Funds", and the balance of the funds for this contract have been
pror;ramrfred and budgeted under the "Community Development P'rop,rram";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY ()F MIAM"I, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Marsh 2, 1977 bid of D.M.P. Corporation
in the amount of $448,198.40 for the project entitled WYNDWOOD PAVING
PRO,?r:('T - PHASE IT - B-44(17 and WYNDWOOD SANITARY SEWER MODIFICATIONS
PHASE IT - I3-5425, namely Bid "A", Bid "13" and Bid "C" of the
Proposal, based on
stated therein,
Section ,'.

unit prices is hereby accepted at the price
The amount of $216,021, 82 is hereby allocated
from the "Iii 4hwr y Improvement Bond Funds", the amount of $90, 042_ , 79
is hereby by allocated from "Storm Sewer Bond Funds", and the remaining
amount of 11.50,000 is 'hereby propr rnmed from funds to be received
from the U,E, Depar°tment o I?ousinl* and Urban Development through
its obligation to pay the City of Miami through the City's
Community Development Program to cover the cost of the said
contract, project expense and incidental expense.
Section 3. The amount of t30,099.52 i.s hereby allocated
from "Highway Improvement Bond Funds" and the amount of $12,546,22
is hereby allocated from "Storm Sewer Bond hounds" to cover project
expense, which includes engineering, surveys and inspection work
performed by City forces,
Section 4. The amount of $5,472.66 is hereby allocated
from "Highway Improvement Bond Funds", and the amount of $2,280.99
from "Storm Sewer Bond Funds" to cover the cost of such items as
advertising, testing laboratories and postage.
Section 5. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter
into a contract on behalf of the City of Miami with D.M.P. Corporation
for wynnwoOD PAVING PROJECT - PHASE II B-4407 and WYNDWOOD
SANITARY SEWER MODTFICATIONS PHASE II B-5425, BID "A", BID "g",
AND BID "C".
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24TH day of MARCH 1977.
