FROM THE PARKS FOR PEOPLE BOND FUND.
WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Motion No. 77-110
at its February 10, 1977 meeting requesting an audit of the City
of Miami Parks for People Bond Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIME COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI , FLORIDA
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
amend the existing professional service contract between the
City of Miami and Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Company, certified
public accountants, to include under Item 2 (Basic Services)
of said contract the performance of a Parks for People Bond
Program Audit of the books, accounting records and finances of
said Program; such audit to indicate expenditures and remain-
ing funds and to include dollar amounts of any grants received,
City Funds, county funds, or Community Development Funds utilized
in the acquisition, construction, or improvement of any City Parks,
and to include under Item 5 (Compensation) of said contract an
amount not to exceed $5,000 as compensation for said audit, with
funds therefor to be paid from the Parks for People Bond Fund.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this15TFH day of March, 1977,

Attached is a resolution authorizing the City Manager
to engage the services of an outside firm to audit the
Parka for People Pond Funds, as directed by Motion 77-110
adopted by the City Commission at its `ebruary 10, 1977
meeting.
The resolution amends Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Company's
present contract to include the above audit at an amount
not to exceed $5,000.
