A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER IN'I'O AN AGREEMENT WITH UNITED WAY OP
DADE COUNTY, A NON-PROFIT
ORGANIZATION, FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUBCONTRACTING
ONE (1) C.E.T.A. PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYMENT
POSITION FOR THE PERIOD BETWEEN MARCH 1, 1977
AND SEI'TEMBER 30, 1977, TO BE FUNDED THROUGH
C.E.T.A. ALLOCATION OF FUNDS AT A RATE NOT TO
EXCEED $ 917 tEt MONTH INCLUDING 10% FOR SOCIAL
SECURITY AND OTHER FRINGE BENEFITS, 'f0 BE
RECEIVED BY THE CITY AND METROPOLITAN DADE COUNTY,
AS AGENT FOR MANPOWER PLANNING CONSORTIUM.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami operates public service
employment programs under the Comprehensive Employment and
Training Act of 1973 (C.E.T.A.), as amended; and
WHEREAS, UNITED WAY OF DADE COUNTY,
a non-profit organization, has requested the City of
Miami to provide to it certain public service employment
positions in order to continue to provide services to City of
Consortium.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAH , FLORIDA:

enter into an agreement with UNITED WAY OF DADE COUNTY,
