TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH COCONUT OROVE
AFTER SCHOOL NON-PROFIT
ORGANIZATION, FOR THE PURPOSE OF' SUBCONTRACTING
ONE (1) C,E.T.A. PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYMENT
HOSITICN(S) FOR THE PERIOD BETWEEN MARCH 1► 1977
AND SEPTEMBt•R 30, 1977, 'I'O BE FUNDED THROUGH
C.E.'1'.A. ALLOCATION OF FUNDS AT A RATE NOT '1'O
EXCEED $917 P R MONTH INCLUDING 10% FOR SOCIAL
SECURITY AND OTHER FRINGE BENEFITS, '1'O BE
RECEIVED BY `I'lHE CI'l'Y AND METROPOLITAN 1)AUE COUNTY,
AS AGENT FOR MANPOWER PLANNING CONSORTIUM.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami operates public 5trvice
employment programs under the Comprehensive Employment and
Training Act of 1973 (C.E.T.A.) ► as amended; and
WHEREAS, COCONUT GROVE AFTER SCHOOL HOUSE
___ a non-profit organization, has requested the City of
Miami to provide to it curtain public service employment
positions in order to continue to provide services to City of
1'tiauli re:sidents.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION O
THE C1'i'Y OF M 1At1 I , FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
enter into an agreement. with COCONUT GROVE AFTER SCHOOL HOUSE
a non-profit organization, for the purpose

pua ti,ou for the period between MARCH 1, 19/7 and _September
30, 1977, to tie funded through C.E.T.A. allocation of funds
at a rate not to exceed $917 per month, including 10% for
Social Security and other fringe b u ti t s, to be received by
t hv City at: Miami under an agreement between the City and
Metropolitan Dade County, as agent for the Manpower Planning
