PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYMENT POSITIONS FOR THE PERIOD IiE;TWEEN MARCH 1, 1977 ANI) SEPTEMBER 30, 19/ , TO BE FUNDED THROUGH C.E.T.A. ALLOCATION OF FUNDS AT A RATE NOT TO EXCEED $2145 PER MONTH INCLUDING 10% FOR SOCIAL SECURITY ANI) OTHER FRINGE BENEFITS, TO 11E RECEIVED BY THE CITY AND METROPOLITAN DADE COUNTY, AS AGENT FOR MANPOWER PLANNING CONSORTIUM. WHEREAS, the City of Miami operates public service employment programs under the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1974 (C.E.T.A.), as amended, and WHEREAS, ACTION COMMUNITY CENTER, INC. -- ----------a non-profit organization, has requested the City of Miami to provide to it certain public service employment positions in order to continue to provide services to City of Miami residents; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF TIIE CITY OF MIAM•1I , FLORIDA: Section 1. The City Manager is hereby .authorized to enter into an agreement with ACTION COMMUNITY CENTER, INC. , a non-profit organization, for the purpose of subcontracting three(3) C.E.T.A. public service employment position for the period between March 1, 1977 and September 30, 1977, to be funded through C.E.T.A. allocation of funds at rate not to exceed $2145 per month, includiug 1074, for. Social Security and other fringe b u urit.s , to be received by the City of Miami under on agreement between the City aria metropolitan bade. DADE COUNTY ASSOCIATION FOR RETARDED CITIZENS for one (1) CETA slot in an amount not to exceed the rate of $917 per month, effective March 1, 1977. GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF SOUTH FLORIDA for three (3) CETA slots in an amount not exceed the rate of $2,613 per month, effective March 1, 1977. LITTLE HAVANA ACTIVITIES CENTER, INC. for one (1) CETA slot in an amount not to exceed the rate of $788 per month, effective March 1, 1977. MIAMI-DADE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE for two (2) CETA slots in an amount not to exceed the rate of $1,834 per month, effective March 1, 1977. UNITED WAY OF DADE COUNTY for one (1) CETA slot in an amount not to exceed the rate of $917 per month, effec- tive March 1, 1977. MIAMI-DADE TENANT SECURITY ASSOCIATION for two (2) CETA slots in an amount not to exceed the rate of $1,467 per month, effective March 1, 1977.
