:HEP,.EAS, the City of Miami owns and opeLates a broad spectrum
of public facilities suitable for the staging of cultural and enter-
tainment events, and;
WHEREAS, the City of Miami is desirous of producing increased
revenue from, and developing .increased use of, certain of these
facilities which are, namely; Miami Orange Bowl Memorial Stadium,
Commodore Ralph Munroe Marine Stadium, bir:ner Key Exposition Hall,
Bayfront Park Auditorium, and Miami Baseball Stadium, and;
WHEREAS, the City of Miami has concluded that the most expedi-
ent and economical way to achieve increase.: usage and increased revenue
would be to contract with an experienced individual or firm who has
the necessary expertise and contacts, and will acquire appropriate
new events, on a percentage basis, for presentation at the said
facilities.

Section 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to
advertise for, and receive proposals from, experienced individuals
or firms with the necessary expertise and contacts to develope
increased use for the Mia'u. Orange Bowl Memorial Stadium, Commodore
Ralph Munroe Marine Stadium, Dinner Key Exposition Hall, Sayf rout
Park 1 : ditori.um, and Miami Baseball Stadium, and thereby to increase
revenue to the City frQm thas•a faci'i;ies through aca' i.si.tion of
appropriate new eve t$ for presentation at the said facilities,
