A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED CONSTRUCTION
OF EBSARY FOUNDATION CO. FOR BELCHER PROPERTY
PARK DEVELOPMENT AT A TOTAL COST OF $189,906;
AND AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $20,589.90
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated June 16,
1976 between the City of Miami. and Ebsary Foundation Co.; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed
and Ebsary Foundation Co. his furnished the required documents
certifying that all bills for labor and materials have been
paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, the contract was awarded for $185,000 but
durin; excavation by the contractor behind the existing seawall
he freed r ,si diia]. oi. l that began to spill_ into Biscayne Bays and
WHEREAS, because of this additional expense the City
Commi si,m aoraroved increasinr the scope of the contract in the
amount of $5,000 on December 16, 1976.by Resolution No. 76-1126,
maki.n�-_ the ad.1usted contract amount; $190,000; and
':IHEHFA:? , the City Manager and the Department of Public
Works recommend that the completed work be accepted and final
payment: made to the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE: OLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF

Section 1. The completed work performed by Ebsary
Foundation Co. ii., hereby accepted at a total cost or $189,906.
Section 2. The proper officials of The City of Miami
are hereby authorized to pay Ebsary Foundation Co. a balance of
$ 20 , 589 .90 as full and final payment for all work performed and
a]1 materials furnished in connection with the aforesaid Contract,
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16TH day of MARCH
1977.

ing a concrete cap, •tieback system, ^mooring bollards and
