Enclosed is a list of the individual layoffs as requested by the city Cotedssion. The attached list denotes the filled positions being abolished due to the closing of the Incinerator and budgetary cutbacks. This information was deVeloped by the Department of Human Resources. Each position being abolished is shown with the individual incumbent in that position, the department and the classifica- tion title. Immediately under the position being abolished, the list provides the position into which the first incumbent will "roll," including the name of the incumbent he will "bump." That second incumbent's department and classification title is also shown. The latter incumbent will, in turn, bump the next person shown and so on until a final disposition is reached with an existing vacancy being filled, a retirement, or a layoff. The list shows a total of 123 positions being abolished. Of these, 101 are shown as resulting in layoffs, while the remaining 22 positions are indicated as either resulting in an employee filling a vacant position or the incumbent of the abolished position electing to retire. The figure of 101 layoffs is expected to be reduced further, as last minute retirem.ents take effect and as future additional vacancies occur. tittAty 4, 1.9” tcris Ago!. sr rF•11 tq rttt„ PESN tiNG POLt.,4(7: 'S Al.0LAYQFFS Sanitation (due td closing of Tncihetatot) (Sanitation) eoritar (Sanitation Plant Supervisor ti) (Publit Properties) Prank Waters (Maint.
