As a result of the first Public Hearing, held February 10, 1977, adjustments have been made in the Culmer target area allocation to reflect an increase in social service funding to $100,965, or 15% of the total target area allocation. This amount would increase the Economic Development Program from $46,891 to $80,546, a 58% increase, and would fund the Cultural Service Program in the recommended amount of $20,419. Please note that the proposed amount for the Economic Development Program is a target figure, to be negotiated and substantiated by a satisfactory work program and budget. It is requested that the City Commission pass the attached resolution authorizing the City Manager to accept the grant and execute the necessary contracts and agreements to implement the program.
