WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to 36 potential
suppliers and 9 bids were received; and
WHEREAS, funds for this purchase are available in
the Department of Publicity and Tourism 1976-77 Pipali.Jear

WHEREAS, these materials will be used by the
Budget; and
Department
of Publicity and Tourism for the purpose of promo-
tional use in Canada and the United States and distrubted to
tourists; and
WHEREAS, the City has the option of accepting or
refusing the re -runs within one year which would be based
on subsequent requirements and availability of funds; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of
Publicity and Tourism recommend that the bid received from Forum
Litho, Inc. be accepted as it is the most advantageous bid to
the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, OE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA;
Section 1. The January 7, 1977 bid of Forum Litho,
Inc. for furnishing 150,000 brochures - Miami Magic - at a toW,

Pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were received
January 7, 1977 for the printing of brochures Magic
Miami - for the Department of Publicity and Tourism.
Invitations were mailed to thirty-six potential sup-
pliers and nine bids were received as per the attached
tabulation.
Funds are available in the 1976-77 Fiscal Year Budget.
The brochures are mailed to all parts of Canada and
the United States for promotional use and distributed
to tourists.
150,000 brochures are to be ordered at this time with
the option of a re -run within one year at a cost of
$7,508.00 depending upon the availability of funds.
It is requested that the award be made and a resolu-
tion be prepared accepting the most advantageous bid
as received from Forum Litho, Inc. for the printing
of 150,000 brochures - Magic Miami - at a total cost
of $9,313.00 with the option of a re -run within one
year at a cost of $7,508.00.
The Department of Publicity and Tourism concurs with
this recommendation.

As per your memo of January 7, we recommend Fortin Litho, Inc. low
bidder to receive bid #76.77-23 for the printing of the Miami Magic
borchure.
We are requesting 150,000 to be printed with the one year rerun
option.
These brochures are mailed to all parts of Canada and the United States
for promotional use as well as for distribution to tourists in a
continuing vital part of our community program.
This money is appropriated in our budget.
