icides and fertilizers For the Department of Parks and Recreation; and

recommend that the bids received from Crown Chemical Co- at $19707.00p

u period of six months from date of award is hereby accepted, subject
to the availability of funds in tho Fiscal Budget of the Department
of Parks and Recreation for 1976-1977;

Pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were received
December 13, 1976 for Furnishing fertilizers, insect-
icides) herbicides and fungicides on a contract basis
for six months from date of award for the Parks and
Recreation Department.
Invitations were mailed to thirty-six potential sup-
pliers and eight bids were received as per the attached
tabulation.
Funds for this purchase are to be allocated from the
1976-1977 Fiscal Year Budget.
The chemicals and fertilizers are used in the spraying
and nutritional control of the golf courses and the
City hark".
