Section 1. The issuance of a permit to the MIAMI
COMMUNITY POLICE BENEVOLENT ASSOCIATION for amusement rides
at 5820 N.W. 7 Avenue, in conjunction with its carnival held
on February 9 thru 13, 1977, subject to certain terms and
conditions, is hereby approved and ratified.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of February, 1977.

Ari application for a carnival to be held by the
Miami Community police Benevolent at 5823 N. W.
7th Avenue has been received and it complies with
City Ordinances.
Because of a misunderstanding on the part of the
applicants, this must be acted on post Facto.
Approval of the carnival was granted by Mr, Homan
of the office of the City Manager pending ratification
by the. Commission.

The Miami Community Police Benevolent Association is composed
of the Slack Police Officers of the City of Miami Police
Department.
As Chairman for our Students' Scholarship Award fund which
has been in effect since the year of 1974, we have sponsored
a carnival to raise funds for the many public -minded projects
we undertake during the year.
We are planning to hold a carnival for the period of February
9 through February 13, 1977 on the site located at N.W. 58
Street and 7 Avenue, no previous carnival has been held on this
site, and hereby request a permit for this event. This
carnival will consist of appro> r tely twenty-five rides.
