A RESOLUTION RATIPYINO AND APPROVING THE
CITY MANAGER'S ACCEPTANCE OF THE "OERER OF
GRANT" DATED ?ESRUARY 8 1977 FROM THE U.S.
DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
ADMINISTRATION, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
1,758,187 FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN
'HE RENOVATION OE THE DINNER KEY RECREATION
CENTER.
WHEREAS, the CITY Off' MIAMI received an Offer of
Grant dated I'ebruary 8, 1977 from the U.S. Department of
Commerce in an amount not to

On February 8, 19/7 the City receiVed notice of a
Grant Offer for the binner Key Recreation Center
Renovation. The amount of the Grant Offer was
$3,758,187.
In accordance with the terms of the Grant, its
acceptance must have been returned to the Regional
Office in Philadelphia no later than February 23.'
The City Manager and Mayor have executed acceptance
of this offer and it is necessary that the Commission
ratify their action,
