A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK
OF BISCAYNE CONSTRUCTION, INC, FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF PARKS HARD SURFACE
COURTS 1975 (HENDERSON PARK) AT A TOTAL
COST OF $31,320; ASSESSING $1,980 AS
LIQUIDATED DAMAGES FOR 33 DAYS OVERRUN OF
CONTRACT TIME; AND AUTHORIZING, AFTER ALL
ADJUSTMENTS, A FINAL PAYMENT OF $1,152 TO
BISCAYNE CONSTRUCTION, INC*
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated March 7,
1975 between the City of Miami and Biscayne Construction, Inc;
and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed
and Biscayne Constructions Inc, has furnished the required
documents certifying that all bills for labor and materials
have been paid in full in connection with the aforesaid con-
tract; and
WHEREAS, liquidated damages in the amount of $1,980
for 33 days overrun of contract time should be deducted from
the final payment due the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF IIIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1 The completed work performed by Biscayne
Construction, Inc. under contract dated March 7, 1975 for
PARKS - HARD SURFACE COURTS - 1975 (HENDERSON PARK), is
hereby accepted at a total cost of $31,320.
Section 2. There be assessed against the contractor
the sum of $1,980 for 33 days overrun of contract time.
Section 3. The proper officials of the City of
Miami are hereby authorized and directed to pay Biscayne
Construction, Inc., after deductions, a balance of $1,15? as
full and final payment for all work performed and all materials
furnished for the construction of PARKS HARD SURFACE COURTS -

$iscayne Construction, Inc. has completed the replace-
ment of two existing clay courts at Henderson Park)
971 N. W. 2 Street, with 2 new concrete tennis courts
with color coating, at a total cost of $31,320.
It is now in order for the Commission to accept the work
and authorize a final payment to the Contractor. The
Contractor has furnished the required documents certifying
that all bills for labor, materials, etc., have been paid
in Full in connection with the aforesaid contract.
