A reetnent• With the Greater
Miami Traffic Ass6e1ation• •
On October 28, 1976, the City Commission adopted Motion No. 76-959,
a Motion of Intent to provide the Greater Miami Traffic Association
$20,000 for their services.
During the adoption of the 1976-77 Budget, only $10,000 was appropriated
for this purpose. Therefore, in order to provide the necessary funds,
enclosed is a resolution providing $10,000 from the originally allocated
special programs and accounts and the additional $10,000 necessary
from the Contingency Fund.
Also, an Agreement is being provided, since the City has not entered
into a new Agreement with the Greater Miami Traffic Association since
1967, and has only been updating the original Agreement by a letter of
understanding. In the new Agreement, it is stipulated that the
Greater Miami Traffic Association will provide the City Manager with
a semi-annual report on the services that they provide to the City of
Miami.
