Lit IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY Or MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. A permit is hereby authorized to he issued
to JAMES E. SCOTT COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION
for amusement rides in connection with its Carnival at the ORANOWAY
STORE at 1100 NW 54 Street April 7 thru 10, 1977
on
subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. Such use shall not be established for a period
exceeding 15 clays, nor shall any one location
be used more than once every -90 days.
2. The operators of the amusement- rides shall obtain
the necessary licenses, permits and Certificates
of Use.
3. Small tents shall be permitted only to carry on
ride activities.
The operators of the amusement rides will provide
separate sanitary facilities for both male and
female patrons.
5.
The operators and employees of the rides will not
domicile on the property.
No alcoholic beverages may be sold on the premises.
The City of Miami Police Department will be contacted
and the number of off -duty policemen that the Depart-
ment 'feels are necessary to direct traffic and provide
for security will be employedby the permit holder.
S. Operations must conform to noise level requirements as
set forth by the Director of the Building Department.

2300 N. W. 10th Avenue, February 10th
to 13th, 1977.
B. James E. Scott. Community Association,
at 1100 N. W. 54th Street, April 7th
to April 10, 1977.
Both meet requirements of 0rairiancc 46871, draft
resolutions are attached.

quent -prone and socially deprived youths throw h technioues. They
engage in constructive cultural, social and educational activities
geared toward strE-ngtheninr individual esteem as well as achieving.

assisting them in attaining purposeful goals which they (the youths)

The project has decided to sponsor a carnival to provide
an additiorai mans of obtaining funds for youth oriented activities
through the Volunteer Component. Additional objectives of this
carnival are to provide and construct an event that requires collective,
cooperative, and group participation in the area of entertainrent.
James E. Scott. Community Association respectively request that
commission time be allocated on the up -coming agenda of the City
