TO ACCEPT A C ANT AWARb PROM THE PINE ARTS
COUNCIL OP FLORIDA FOR ARTIST-IN�RESiDENOE
PROGRAM AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY CONTRACT(S)
AND%OR AGREEMENT(S) TO IMPLEMENT THE PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City Manager or his representatVe
has applied for a grant from Pine Arts Council of Florida
for Artist -In -Residence Program; and
WHEREAS, this program will expand or improve the
delivery of municipal services to the residents of the City
of Miami; and
WHEREAS, sufficient City of Miami funds have been
identified to meet any requirements for match purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized
to accept a grant award from the Fine Arts Council of Florida for
an Artist -In -Residence Program.
Section 2 The City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute the necessary contract(s) and/or agreement(s) to implement
this program.
