DDOCU AND/OR AGREEMENT(S) TO IMPLEMENT THE PROGRAM.
FO LLO w" WHEREA5, the City Manager or his representative
has applied for a grant from the U. S. Department of Health,
Education and Welfare for Staff Training for Adapted Recrea-
tion (STAR) ; and
WHEREAS, this program will expand or improve the
delivery of municipal services to the residents of the City
of Miami; and
WHEREAS, sufficient City of Miami funds have been
identified to meet any requirements for match purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized
to accept a grant award from the U. S. Department of Health,
Education
(STAR) .
and
Welfare for Staff Training for Adapted Recreation
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized
to execute the necessary contract(s) and/or agreement(s) to
implement this program.
