You will find attached a resolution providing for the selection of a news- paper in whith to publish the advertisement for the sale of delinquent special improvement assessment liens. The Law provides that the City Commission select the newspaper in which this advertisement is to appear. House Bill No. 336, passed by the 1943 legislature, provides that the ad- vertisement to be published in connection with the sale of delinquent special improvement assessment liens for non-payment "shall not require more than twenty-seven inches of newspaper space at each insertion". Since the'advertiseutnt should be given as much publicity as possible, it is suggested that one of the daily newspapers be selected. The newspapers selected for the 1976 advertisement were the Miami News, the Miami review, and (in Spanish) Diario las Americas.
