ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HERE-
WITH; PROVIDING THAT THE DIRECTOR SHALL CAUSE
CEERTIFIED COPIES. TO BE. FILED PURSUANT TO
SECTION 503 Or THE TRUST INDENTURE; REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CON-
FLICT HEREWITH AND CONTAINING A SEVERABILtTY
PROVISION.
WHEREAS, the Off -Street Parking Board of the City
of Miami on December 22, 1976, through its Resolution No. 76-545,
recommended to the City Commission, upon recommendation of the Parking
Consultant, that parking rates be increased in certain off-street
parking lots and the Off -Street Parking Board has recommended that the
basic hourly rates be increased at Municipal Parking, Garages Nos. 1, 2,
3, and 4; and
WHEREAS, Section 503 of the Trust Indenture, being
Ordinance No. 7414, as amended, provides that rates be reviewed by the
Parking Consultant in any 12 month period in which the net revenues of
the Parking System are less than 150% of the maximum annual debt service
requirement; and
WHEREAS, the Parking Consultant has personally inspected
the off-street parking facilities and carefully reviewed the existing rate
structure; and
WHEREAS, the Parking Consultant has submitted a report,
dated August 27, 1976, recommending the increase in rates in certain off-
street parking facilities, to be effective March 1,.1977, in order to
meet the debt service requirement; and
WHEREAS, the last increase of such rates took place
over 3 years ago;
NOW, THEREFORE,'BE IT ORDAINED. BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The, following designated parking rates
are herebNi established:

Section 2. The ratesas provided in this Ordinance
shall be effective at 12:01A.M., March 1, 1977.
Section 3. All acts of the Off -Street Parking Board and
its Director as to rates heretofore charged are hereby ratified and con-
firmed.
Section 4. All Ordinances or parts thereof in
flict herewith are repealed insofar as they are in conflict.
Section 5. The Director of Off -Street Parking shall
cause certified copies of this Ordinance to be filed pursuant to Sec-
tion 503 of the Trust Indenture,
Section 6, If any section, sentence, clause, phrase,
or word of this ordinance is for any reason held or declared to be uncon-
stitutional inoperative or void, such holding or invalidity shall not
affect the remaining portions of this ordinance; and it shall be con-
strued to have been the intent of the Commission of the City of Miami
