AMOUNT OF $1,000,000 TO THE YOUNG
WOMEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OFTHREATER
MIAMI AND DADE COUNTY,

FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS WHO HOLD THE
MORTGAGE ON THE REAL ESTATE KNOWN AS
THE "YWCA BUILDING" ADJACENT TO THE
CITY'S PROPOSED DOWNTOWN CONVENTION
CENTER SITE FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE
AFORESAID PROPERTY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
'MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to submit a bid in the amount of $1,000,000 to
the Young Women's Christian Association of Greater Miami
and Dade County, Inc. and the financial institutions who
hold the mortgage on the real estate known as the "YWCA
BUILDING" adjacent to the City's proposed Downtown Convention.
Center site for the purchase of the aforesaid property.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of January, 1977
