PONCE rat FURNISHING CEMENT BOLLARDS, DRINKING FOUNTAINS, SEATS AND TELEPHONE STANDS FOR BAYFRONT PARK FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION AT A TOTAL COST OF $17,025; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM TITLE X - BAYFRONT PARK FUNDS; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING AGENT TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER FOR THESE MATERIALS. WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice, sealed bids t4,tere received December 1, 1976 for the furnishing of cement bollards, drinking fountains, seats and telephone stands for BAYFRONT PARK for the Department of Parks and Recreation; and WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to 28 potential Suppliers and 3 bids were received; and WHEREAS, funds for this purchase are available from TITLE X - BAYFRONT PARK FUNDS; and WHEREAS, these materials will be used by the Department of Parks and Recreation as part of the beautification program at BAYFRONT PARK; and WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of Parks and Recreation recommend that the bid received from S. Ponce for furnishing cement bollards, drinking fountains, seats and telephone stands for Bayfront Park be accepted as the most adv.Wappous bid idULkiiiLs. I to the City; ITEM NO. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The December 1, 1976 bid received from S. ponce for furnishing cement bollards, drinking fountains, seats and telephone stands for Bayfront Park at a total cost of $17,025 is hereby accepted, with funds therefor hereby allocated from TITLE X - BAYFRONT PARK FUNDS.
