PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYMENT POSITIONS, FOR THE PERIOD BETWEEN JANUARY 3, 1977 AND SEPTEMBER 30, 1977, TO BE FUNDED THROUGH A C.E.T.A. DOL ' i ErTS FOLLOW„ WHEREAS, the City of Miami operates public service employ- ment programs under the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1973 (C.E.T.A.), as amended; and WHEREAS, URBAN LEAGUE OF GREATER MIAMI, INC., a non-profit organization, has requested the City of Miami to provide to it certain public service employment positions in order to enhance services to City of Miami residents; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISC^ONCr�'�T OFE``; Lh CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: .---/ Section 1. Urban League of Greater Miami, Inc., for three (3) CETA positions. . United Cerebral Palsy, Inc., for three (3) CETA positions. The proposed resolutions have been negotiated with the above agencies and funds have been identified for the effective period of the agreements January 3, 1977 to September 30, 1977. Therefore, it is appropriate for the City Commission to authorize the proposed agreement. RWP :I'4/wfh
