ELECTING TWO MEMBERS OF THE RETIREMENT BOARD OF THE
MtAM1 CITY GENERAL EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT PLAN BY
THOSE GENERAL CITY EMPLOYEES WHO ARE MEMBERS OF
THE SAID PLAN AND CONFIRMING THE ELECTION OF LUIS
A. DE JESUS AND ANNE HARRIS TO THE AFORESAID R -

WHEREAS, the general administration and responsibility for
tht proper operation of the Miami City General Employees' Re-
tirement Plan are vested in the Retirement Board of said Plan;
and
WHEREAS, two vacancies on said Board were created December'
31, 1976 by expiration of terms of employee members Robert
Richmond, Jr. and Anne Harris; and
WHEREAS, under date of March 25, 1975, the City Commission
passed and adopted Resolution No. 75-303 adopting rules and
procedures for an election by general employees who are Retire-
ment Plan members of members of the Retirement Board of the Mia

City General Employees' Retirement Plan; and ITEM NO. 12 „
WHEREAS, in accordance with law and the general guidelines
and principles of said resolution, an election was duly held on
December 14, 1976 in the City Clerk's Office, City Hall, Dinner
Key; in the Bayfront Park Auditorium, 499 Biscayne Boulevard;
in the Incinerator Building, 1950 N.W. 12th Avenue; in the Police
Roll Call Room, 400 N.W. 2nd Avenue; and in the Fire Department
Garage, 1151 N.W. 7th Street, the following results of which
election were duly certified by the City Clerk based upon the
election returns which were canvassed by the staff of the City
Clerk, which staff is hereby found to be competent to have served
as the election board for such election;

WHEREAS, no candidate received a majority
cast in said election; and
WHEREAS, a run-off election was duly held on December 21,
1976 in the aforesaid locations for the purpose of electing two
members to said Retirement Plan Board from the three candidates
receiving the highest number of votes at said election held on
December 14, 1976, the following results of which run-off elec-
tion were duly certified by the City Clerk based upon the elec-
tion returns which were canvassed by the staff of the City Clerk,
which staff is hereby found to be competent to have served as
the election board for such election:

Section 1. The City Clerk's certified results of the elec-
ion called for the purpose of electing two members of the Retire-
pelt Board of the Miami City General Employees' Retirement Plan
