DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER AND THE CITY CLERK TO TAKE ANY AND ALL
ACTIONS NECESSARY TO ENSURE THAT THE PUBLIC IS PROPERLY NOTIFIED

A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION COMBINING THE MARCH 12,
2026, AND MARCH 26, 2026, CITY COMMISSION MEETINGS INTO ONE (1)
MEETING TO BE HELD ON THURSDAY, MARCH 12, 2026, STARTING AT 9:00 A.M.
TO BE HELD AT CITY HALL, 3500 PAN AMERICAN DRIVE, MIAMI, FLORIDA;
DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER AND THE CITY CLERK TO TAKE ANY AND ALL
ACTIONS NECESSARY TO ENSURE THAT THE PUBLIC IS PROPERLY NOTIFIED
OF THE CHANGE IN DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 2-32(b) of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended ("City
Code"), provides that regular meetings of the City Commission shall be held on the second and
fourth Thursdays of each month beginning at 9:00 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has a regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday,
March 12, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. and a meeting on March 26, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, Sections 2-32(a) and (c) of the City Code provides that the City Commission
may designate a substitute day or time for City Commission meetings by Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that it is necessary to reschedule the March 26,
2026, City Commission meeting to the March 12, 2026, meeting date and to combine the
meetings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are
adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The City Commission meeting scheduled for March 26, 2026, is rescheduled
to Thursday, March 12, 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m. to be held at City Hall, 3500 Pan American
Drive, Miami, Florida.
Section 3. The City Manager and the City Clerk are both directed to take any all actions
necessary to ensure that the public is properly notified of the change in the date of the March
26, 2026, City Commission Meeting.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
