Staff Report and Business Impact Statement
Chapter 2 i-
Purpose:
To make necessary adjustments and updates to the fees listed in Chapter 2 of the City Code titled
"Zoning certificate of use required; annual reinspection of buildings and premises; fees for inspections
and issuance of certificates".
Estimated Direct Economic Impact:
• No direct compliance cost is associated with the amendment.
• It is anticipated that this amendment will have a net positive impact on City's revenues.
Estimated Number of Businesses to be Impacted:
• The estimated number of businesses to be impacted by this amendment cannot be determined
due to the ambiguities created by the nature of the amendment.
• All applicants filing for a Certificate of Use through the Office of Zoning will be impacted.
Additional Information:
The City wishes to have expenses incurred by specialized zoning permit applications covered by fees
paid by applicants rather than being subsidized by the City's general fund.
Recommendation: Approval
