Code Amendment to Chapter b Public Benefits
Fees Updates
Purpose:
Establishes an administration cost for the Public Benefits Trust Fund.
Estimated Direct Economic Impact:
• There is no cost associated with this City Code amendment.
• There are no fees associated with this City Code amendment.
• It is not anticipated that the City of Miami will incur any additional regulatory costs or
increase revenue from this City Code amendment.
Estimated Number of Businesses to be Impacted:
It is not expected that any business will be impacted.
Additional Information:
The Public Benefits Trust Fund (SR 10095) collects cash contributions made according to the Miami 21
Code, to supplement affordable/workforce housing, public parks and open space, and green building
certification shortfalls. This amendment allows a percentage of collected fee to be spent on
administrative costs associated with facilitating the administration of the fund.
