BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The City Manager is hereby directed to approve the Miami Freedom Park site as the location of the new Miami Police Department ("MPD") headquarters, subject to the results of a traffic study analysis, the establishment of a traffic plan that minimizes the impact to the surrounding neighborhoods, and input from the neighborhood residents gathered at a City Commission District 1 townhall meeting prior to any final decision regarding the ultimate location of the MPD headquarters.
