The awarded vendor, contract terms, and amount are shown below: IFB No./Title: Contract Amount: Contract Term: Recommended Vendor: IFB No. 2019387 Furnish and Install Windows, Doors, and Louvers at Fire Station Nos. 6 and 8 One-time purchase for an approximate amount of $289,341.69 One-time purchase Matthews & Simmons Construction LLC BACKGROUND: On June 27, 2025, the Procurement Department, on behalf of the City of Miami's Fire -Rescue Department ("Fire - Rescue") issued Invitation for Bid ("IFB") No. 2019387 for the one-time purchase and installation of windows, doors, and louvers at Fire Station Nos. 6 and 8, under full and open competition. At the bid closing, on September 8, 2025, eleven (11) submissions were received. Six (6) bidders were deemed non -responsive due to submitting incorrect price sheets or failing to include required documentation, such as the General Contractor's License and the Certification Section with References. The remaining bids were reviewed and evaluated in accordance with the criteria outlined in the IFB, Matthews & Simmons was deemed as the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. Consequently, approval of this recommendation to award is requested. Your signature below will indicate approval of this recommendation.
