A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
ALLOCATING PROGRAM INCOME FROM COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK
GRANT ("CDBG') FUNDS GENERATED FROM SEPTEMBER 30, 2025, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $846.85 FOR ELIGIBLE ACTIVITIES, AS SPECIFIED IN EXHIBIT "A,"
ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED; FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE ANY AND ALL DOCUMENTS, IN A FORM
ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY, INCLUDING AMENDMENTS, RENEWALS,
EXTENSIONS, AND MODIFICATIONS, AS MAY BE NECESSARY, SUBJECT TO ALL
FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL LAWS THAT REGULATE THE USE OF SUCH
FUNDS, FOR SAID PURPOSE.
Background of Item:
The Department of Housing and Community Development ("Department") receives
various types of repayments from loans provided to developers and homeowners in the
past, such funds referred to as program income, are required to be used for eligible
program activities.
On September 30, 2025, the Department of Housing and Community Development has
collected an amount of $846.85 in Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG')
program income.
Pursuant to CDBG regulations 24 CFR Part 570.504, program income must be used for
eligible CDBG activities.
The Department recommends the allocation of the program income from CDBG funds
generated on September 30, 2025 for eligible housing and economic development
activities, as specified in Exhibit "A" attached and incorporated.

A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
ALLOCATING PROGRAM INCOME FROM COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK
GRANT ("CDBG") FUNDS COLLECTED ON SEPTEMBER 30, 2025, IN THE AMOUNT
OF EIGHT HUNDRED FORTY-SIX DOLLARS AND EIGHTY-FIVE CENTS ($846.85)
FOR CDBG ELIGIBLE ACTIVITIES, AS SPECIFIED IN EXHIBIT "A," ATTACHED AND
INCORPORATED; FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE
AND EXECUTE ALL THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING AMENDMENTS,
EXTENSIONS, AND MODIFICATIONS, ALL IN A FORM ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY
ATTORNEY, SUBJECT TO ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS THAT
REGULATE THE USE OF SUCH FUNDS, FOR SAID PURPOSE.
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Community Development
("Department") receives diverse types of repayments from loans provided to developers
and homeowners ("Program Income") that are required to be used for eligible program
activities; and
WHEREAS, on September 30, 2025, the Department collected an amount of
Eight Hundred Forty -Six Dollars and Eighty -Five cents ($846.85) in Community
Development Block Grant ("CDBG") Program Income; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to CDBG regulations 24 CFR Part 570.504, Program
Income amount must be used for eligible CDBG activities; and
WHEREAS, the Department recommends allocating the CDBG Program Income
funds collected on September 30, 2025, in the total amount of Eight Hundred Forty -Six
Dollars and Eighty -Five Cents ($846.85) to the CDBG eligible activities specified in
Exhibit "A," attached and incorporated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution
are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The allocation of the CDBG Program Income funds collected on
September 30, 2025, in the total amount of Eight Hundred Forty -Six Dollars and Eighty -
Five Cents ($846.85) to the CDBG eligible activities specified in Exhibit "A," attached
and incorporated, is authorized.1
1 The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all legal requirements that may be
imposed, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter and City Code
provisions.
Section 3. The City Manager is authorized' to negotiate and execute any and all
necessary documents, all in a form acceptable to the City Attorney, subject to all
federal, state, and local laws that regulate the use of such funds, for said purpose.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
