This amendment clarifies parking standards and permits Micro Dwelling Units by -Right in designated areas, specifically within the T5 Urban Center and T6 Urban Core Transect Zones, and when one of the following conditions applies: • Transit -Oriented Development (TOD) areas • Transit Station Neighborhood Districts (TSND) • Neighborhood Revitalization Districts (NRDs) • Areas in proximity to universities or colleges • Podium liner configurations Estimated Direct Economic Impact: • There will be no additional municipal regulatory costs for businesses. • The expanded by -Right opportunities eliminate entitlement requirements and reduce regulatory costs when specified criteria are satisfied. Estimated Number of Businesses to be Impacted: Any property located within T5 or T6 Transect Zones and complies with designated criteria described above may utilize the updated regulatory provisions. Additional Information: This amendment emphasizes the integration of these compact, affordable housing options into new, expanding, or redeveloping urban neighborhoods, while supporting transit access, walkability, and sustainable growth.
