Tpt Amendment
Purpose:
This Zoning Text Amendment would allow, by right, the storage of fishing equipment on properties
designated as 'Working Waterfront" in Appendix PA-1 of the Miami Comprehensive Neighborhood Plan,
when the property is operating a Marine -Related Commercial Establishment. This amendment would ensure
that Working Waterfront properties may operate within the confines of the zoning code, and that the zoning
code is better aligned with the Working Waterfront policies of the MCNP.
Estimated Direct Economic Impact:
• No direct compliance cost to businesses is associated with this amendment.
• The amendment would not create any new charges or fees for which a business would be
responsible.
• This amendment would not result in a change to the administrative costs associated with the
enforcement of the City's land development regulations.
Estimated Number of Businesses to be Impacted:
There are 135 Working Waterfront properties in the City of Miami. Only a fraction of these operate
businesses that would be affected by this legislation.
