We are social organization because we are dealing with so many issues related to the community at large: housing, economic, immigration, healthcare, education etc. This is our reality as a soccer organization, and we are being transparent about it. Sports and education have been a central component to our organization. Our high school graduation success rate has been 100%. We encourage our players to dream beyond high school and took them every December to IDX showcase, which is a platform to expose those high school kids who have talent to see by college coaches. Our organization with limited resources known from all youth soccer clubs in South Florida. We have not only participated in major soccer tournaments but also won several trophies as a result. While we strive to promote kids' participation, we channel the kids with talents to compete through leagues and tournaments. We are 100% compliant with the City of Miami risk management component of the contract: a) Level II background check of all the coaches b) Certificate of Insurance for the park c) Certificate of Insurance (work compensation) 2. Background: Little Haiti FC founded in April 2014, it is a not -for -profit start-up youth soccer club serving a diverse population of underserved families from the central Miami neighborhood of Little Haiti and surrounding communities. Our mission is to provide opportunities for young people in urban communities to participate in competitive club soccer regardless of race, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status. We achieve this mission by designing and implementing high -quality youth soccer programs in conjunction with academic and social enrichment that develop participants into well-rounded members of our community. Little Haiti FC also serves as a gateway for the multi -disciplinary delivery of academic, health care, and social service resources to players and their families. Our vision is a Miami in which traditionally underserved populations have access to high -quality soccer programs that push participants to grow athletically while also helping them develop into leaders and change agents who will create sustainable solutions to social problems in Miami and beyond. 3. Scope of Services: Recreational and competitive youth soccer in City of Miami Dade 4. Funding requested: $100,000.00 5. Use of Funding: The organization will utilize the fund for Practices games, soccer games fee, Equipments, Uniforms, Traveling (away games), food and Coach Stipend. 6. How you will measure the success of the program. Success will be measure by: A. Maintaining and increasing the number of children served. B. By supporting children academically in the program, to make sure they graduate from high school. C. By assisting children in their quest for higher education. D. Maintain and increase the number of parents and volunteers who support the program. E. Maintain the amount of private and government funding for the operation of the program. Stronger Better Together
