The awarded vendor, contract terms, and amount is shown below: IFB No./Title: IFB No. 1999386 Plumbing Maintenance and Repair Services at Police Facilities Contract Amount: Contract Term: Regular hourly labor rate for plumbing maintenance and repair services, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM — 5:00 PM, $160.00 Overtime hourly labor rate for plumbing maintenance and repair services, Monday - Friday, 5:00 PM — 8:00 AM, weekends and holidays, $240.00 Three (3) years with the option to renew for one (1) additional three (3) year period Recommended Vendor: Ackerman Plumbing, LLC BACKGROUND: On May 2, 2025, Procurement on behalf of the City of Miami's Police Department ("Police") issued IFB No. 1999386 for plumbing maintenance and repair services at Police facilities, on an as needed basis, under full and open competition. On May 23, 2025, at bid closing one (1) bid was received. The Bid was evaluated and tabulated following the guidelines published in the IFB. On June 10, 2025, a Best and Final Offer Letter ("BAFO") was sent to Ackerman Plumbing the sole responsive and responsible Bidder and pricing remained the same. On June 18, 2025, a survey was conducted, and one vendor was unable to meet the timeline, and one vendor was not interested and other vendors did not respond. Consequently, approval of this recommendation to award is requested. Due to lack of participation, Procurement reached out to the some of the identified vendors to determine whether barriers existed in their decision not to compete. For example: 1. My firm was unable to meet the timeline for proposal due date. 2. My firm did not have enough time to ask the City questions necessary to complete the IFB. 3.
