A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DEED OF DEDICATION FROM
JUAN ANTONIO MANTECON AND SABINA MANTECON, HIS
WIFE, CONVEYING A 10-FOOT STRIP OF RESERVED
ZONED STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY ABUTTING SOUTH SIDE
OF LW, 28TH STREET WEST OF N.W. 24TH COURT.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami is in the process of improving
N.W, 28th Street from 17th to 27th Avenues; and
WHEREAS, in order to proceed in the best possible fashion, vari-
ous appertaining owners were requested to dedicate certain previously
undedicated reserved zoned street right-of-way along the path of this
improvement; and
WHEREAS, the results of this solicitation produced seven deeds of
dedication conveying the necessary right-of-way to the City of Miami
which had been heretofore accepted by Resolution No.'s 78-125 and
78-213 respectively; and
WHEREAS, an eighth deed of dedication has now been tendered which
is now in order for acceptance by the Commission of the City of Miami,
Florida;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF

Section 1. The attached deed dated May 22, 1978 from
Juan Antonio Mantecon and Sabina Mantecon, His Wife, conveying to the
City of Miami, Florida for the improvement of N.W. 28th Street, the
north 10-feet of Lot 5, Block 1, of GROVELAND, according to the plat
MIAMI, FLORIDA:

thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 11, at Page 54, of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida, be, and the same is hereby, accepted.

Please place on the June 13,1978 City Commission Agenda a Resolution
accepting the May 22, 1978 deed of dedication conveying to the City
of Miami for the subject improvement a 10-Moot strip of reserved
zoned street right-of-way abutting the south side of N.W. 28 Street,
west of N.W. 24th Court.
PERTINENT INFORMATION
The City of Miami is in the process of improving N.W. 28th Street
from 17th to 27th Avenues with the aid of City of Miami Community
Development and Highway Bonds.
In order for this improvement to proceed in the best possible fashion,
it became necessary to request various appertaining owners for dedi-
cations of heretofore undedicated reserved zoned street right-of-way
along the path of this improvement.
Of those owners contacted, seven had forwarded to us the requested
deeds which had already been accepted by the City Commission under
Resolution No.'s 78-125 and 78-213 respectively.
We now have received an eighth deed of dedication which is in order
for acceptance by the City Commission.
THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS RECOMMENDS ADOPTION OF THE
ATTACHED RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE MAY 22ND, 1978 DEED OF
DEDICATION FROM JUAN ANTONIO NANTECON AND SABINA MANTECON,
HIS WIFE, CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF MIAMI FOR THE N.W. 28TH
STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT, THE NORTH 10-FEET OF LOT 5,
BLOCK 1, OF GROVELAND ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF AS
RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 11, AT PAGE 54, OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS
OF DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA.
