Title: A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A GRANT FROM THE DOWNTOWN
DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF MIAMI ("MIAMI DDA"), IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED THIRTY THOUSAND ($30,000.00), FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2)
HORSES FROM INNER COASTAL LIVESTOCK, INC. FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI
POLICE DEPARTMENT MOUNTED UNIT ("MPD") TO BE ASSIGNED SOLELY WITHIN
THE GEOGRAPHIC BOUNDARIES OF THE MIAMI DDA BRICKELL DISTRICT;
FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DESIGNATE THE CHIEF OF
POLICE TO APPROVE THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS ALLOCATED TO THE
PURCHASE OF TWO (2) HORSES FROM INNER COASTAL LIVESTOCK AND
NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE ANY AND ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS, ALL IN
FORMS ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY, FOR SAID PURPOSE.
