That the May 9, 1978 bid of F & F Construction Co., Inc. in the proposed amount of $25,855.00 for the project entitled CENTRAL MIAMI PARK - SEATING GALLERY & WALKWAY STAINING for the Base Bid of the Proposal, based on a lump sum, is hereby accepted at the price stated therein to cover the cost of said Contract. Section 2. That the amount of $25,855.00 be, and it is hereby, allocated from the account entitled "Public Parks & Recreational Facilities Bond Funci", with funds available under Section 1F, items 11 & 1h of the Capital Improvements Annropri at;ion Ordinance No. 8716, CITY COMMISSION MEETING OF MAY 3 i 1978 RESOLUTION NO. 1 `. This Department has reviewed the bids and has met and discussed these bids with Messrs. Proposal includes the time of performance, and Specifications contain provisions for liquidated damages for failure to complete the work on time.
