RESOLUTION NO. 7 8- 3 7 2
A RESOLUTION WAIVING THE RENTAL PEE FOR THE
USE OF BAYFRONT PARK AUDITORIUM ON DECEMBER 9,
1978, FOR THE ANNUAL CHRISTMAS CHARITY BALL,
SPONSORED BY lIIAMI ELKS LODGE i#948, SUBJECT TO
PAYMENT FOR EVENT PERSONNEL, INSURANCE, AND
OTHER DIRECT COSTS BORNE BY THE CITY, AND
PROVIDING THAT THE SAID SPONSOR SUBMIT TO THE
CITY MANAGER, WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF
SUCH FACILITY USE, A DETAILED ACCOUNTING OF
GROSS FUNDS RECEIVED BY IT BY WAY OF FACILITY
ADMISSION FEES AND FONDS RAISED IN CONNECTION
WITH THE AFORESAID EVENT, TOGETHER WITH A
DETAILED ACCOUNTING OF FUNDS DISBURSED, INCLUD-
ING THE MANNER IN WHICH NET PROFITS ARE TO BE
DISBURSED, TOGETHER WITH A STATEMENT OF THE
SUMS DISBURSED.
BE IT RESOVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The waiver of the rental fee for the
use of Bayfront Park Auditorium on December 9, 1978, for
the Annual Christmas Charity Ball., sponsored by Miami Elks
Lodge ##948 is hereby approved, subject to payment for event
personnel, insurance, and other direct costs borne by the

Section 2. The said sponsor L1M [Hs., to the City
Manager. within 30 days from the date of such facility use, a
detailed accounting of gross funds received by it by way of
facility admission fees and funds raised in connection with
the aforesaid event, together with a detailed accounting of
funds disbursed, including the manner in which net profits are
to be disbursed. together with a statement of the sums disbursed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 31 day of May , 1978.

Once again, Miami Elks Lodge #948 is planning the Annual Christmas
Charity Ball, to be held on Saturday, December 9, 1978.
It is our hope that, as in the past, the City Commission will
waive the fee for the use of Bayfront Park Municipal Auditorium.
We have a copy of Resolution No. 78-238, and will comply with
all of the Sections contained therein.
