Home My WebLink AboutR-78-0370RESOLUTION NO. 78�-:370 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PROPER OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM DEED FOR THE PROPERTY AT N.W. 11TH STREET ROAD APPROXIMATELY 280 FEET NORTHWEST OF N.W. 14TH STREET AND OF HIGHLAND ROAD APPROXIMATELY 101 FEET OF N.W. 14TH TERRACE WHICH PROPERTY WAS ABANDONED, VACATED AND DISCONTINUED FOR PUBLIC USE BY RESOLUTION NO. 76-292 ON MARCH 25, 1976, IN ACCORDANCE WITH TENTATIVE PLAT NO. 935-A BISCAYNE CIVIC CENTER PLAZA. WHEREAS, the subject property was closed, vacated, abandoned, and discontinued for public use by the City of Miami; and WHEREAS, the owner of said property, Biscayne Federal Savings and Loan believes that notwithstanding the closure a title problem still exists which may be rectified by the City's granting a Quit Claim Deed to Biscayne Federal Savings and Loan; and WHEREAS, the City has no objection to the granting of said Quit Claim Deed; NOW, THEREFORE, CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Tha to execute the Quit Claim Deed BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE "DOCUMENT INDEX. The owner of the subject property, Biscayne Federal Savings and Loan, believes that notwithstanding the closure, a title problem still exists which may be rectified•by the City's granting them a Quit Claim Deed. The Law Department and the City Administration have no objection to the granting of the Quit Claim Deed.
