ORDINANCE NO,
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 6871, THE COMPRE=
HENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI BY
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION or LOTS 11 THROUGH
26 AND LOT 29, BLOCK 10, ORANGE HEIGHTS (14-62), BEING
APPROXIMATELY 1400-1462 N.W. 62ND STREET, FROM C-4A
(BOULEVARD COMMERCIAL) AND R-3 (LOW DENSITY MULTIPLE)
TO PR (PUBLIC PARK AND RECREATIONAL); AND BY MAKING
THE NECESSARY CHANGES IN THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP MADE
A PART OF SAID ORDINANCE NO. 6871 BY REFERENCE AND
DESCRIPTION IN ARTICLE III, SECTION 2 THEREOF; BY
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, CODE SECTIONS, OR PARTS
THEREOF IN CONFLICT; AND CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY
PROVISION.
WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board, at its meeting
of April 5, 1978, Item #4(a), following an advertised hearing,
adopted Resolution No. PAB 17-78 by a 7 to 0 vote (1 member
absent) recommending a change of zoning classification as here-
inafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it advisable and in the
best interests of the City of Miami and its inhabitants to amend
said Ordinance, as hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 6871, the Comprehensive Zoning
Ordinance for the City of Miami be, and the same is hereby
amended by changing the zoning classification of Lots 11 through
26 and Lot 29, Block 10, ORANGE HEIGHTS (14-62), being approxi-
mately 1400-1462 N.W. 62nd Street, from C-4A (Boulevard Commercial)
and R-3 (Low Density Multiple) to PR (Public Park and Recreational);
and by making the necessary changes in the Zoning District Map
