WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Ordinance No. 8731 on December 16, 1977, establishing revenues and appropriations for the City of Miami, Florida, for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1978: and WHEREAS, it is now necessary to increase the Finance Department's appropriation in an amount of $12,000 in order to compensate said Department for technical assistance resulting from the assignment of the Property Manager of the Finance Director's staff to render technical assistance to the office of Community Development in the implementation of the Community Development Program; and WHEREAS, the transfer of the aforesaid funds represents a proper expenditure on the part of the office of Community Development from 3rd Year Community Development Funds; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 8731, adopted December 16, 1977, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:l/ "Section 1. Gary, Directo Department of Management and Budget May 8, 1978 • -F, Proposed Ordinance to Appropriate Community Development funds for Property Manager's Salary to finance Department The Property Manager for the Finance Department has been assigned to render technical assistance to the Office of Community Develop- ment in the implementation of the Community Development Program. It has been determined that $12,000 will be needed to fund this position for the remainder of fiscal year 1977-78. In the past, the services of the Property Manager have been paid entirely with City funds. Dena Spillman, Director of Community Development, reports that $12,000 is available from Community Development to pay for the technical assistanc6 rendered by the Property Manager (Please refer to the attached April 17 memorandum). The attached proposed ordinance would appropriate $12,000 from Community Development funds to the Finance Department for the Property Manager's salary. Per our conversation today, please be advised that $12,000 of the Property Manager's salary will be paid by C.D. upon execution of a Form 922 reflecting this action. As you are aware, the Property Manager has been responsible for all CD funded acquisition activities for the past three years. During this period his services have been paid entirely with City funds.
