A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATION
OP RECREATIONAL FACILITIES ON LOT 21, BLOCK 16N, P, W.
WHITE'S SUB (B-34), BEING APPROXIMATELY 1029 N.W. 2ND
AVENUE, PER ARTICLE XVIII-1, SECTION 4 (1-3), PROPOSED
TO BE REZONED FROM C-2 TO P-R, SUBJECT TO APPROVAL OF
FINAL SITE AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN BY THE PLANNING
DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board, at its meeting
of April 5, 1978, Item #3(b), following an advertised hearing,
adopted Resolution No. PAB 16-78 by a 7 to 0 vote (1 member
absent), recommending approval of the development and operation
of recreational facilities as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, no objections were received to said development
and operation; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it advisable and in the
best interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami and
its inhabitants to grant said approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The development and operation of recreational
facilities on Lot 21, Block 16N, P. W. WHITE'S SUB (B-34), being
approximately 1029 N.W. 2nd Avenue, per Article XVIII-1, Sec-
tion 4 (1-3), proposed to be rezoned from C-2 to P-R, subject
to approval of final site and development plan by the Planning
Department, is hereby approved.
