RESOLUTION NO. 7 8 - 2 4 4
A RESOLUTION WAIVING THE RENTAL FEE FOR THE
USE OF MAURICE GUSPIAN CULTURAL CENTER ON
JUKE 15, 16 AND 17, 1978, FOR THE MISS BLACK
FLORIDA PAGEANT, SPONSORED BY HERITAGE PRODUCTIONS,
INC., SUBJECT TO PAYMENT FOR EVENT PERSONNEL,
INSURANCE, AND OTHER DIRECT COSTS BORNE BY THE
CITY, AND PROVIDING THAT THE SAID SPONSOR SUBMIT
TO THE CITY MANAGER, WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE
OF SUCH FACILITY USE, A DETAILED ACCOUNTING OF
GROSS FUNDS RECEIVED BY IT BY WAY OF FACILITY
ADMISSION FEES AND FUNDS RAISED IN CONNECTION WITH
THE AFORESAID EVENT, TOGETHER WITH A DETAILED
ACCOUNTING OF FUNDS DISBURSED, INCLUDING THE
PLANNER IN WHICH NET PROFITS ARE TO BE DISBURSED.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
Section 1. The waiver of the rental fee for the use
of MAURICE GUSMAN CULTURAL CENTER on June 15, 16, and 17, 1978,
for the MISS BLACK FLORIDA PAGEANT, sponsored by Heritage
Productions, Inc., is hereby approved, subject to payment for
event personnel, insurance, and other direct costs borne by the

Section 2. The said sponsor slia4TEsM Nubmit to the laity
Manager, within 30 days from the date of such facility use, a
detailed accounting of gross funds received by it by way of
facility admission fees and funds raised in connection with the
aforesaid event, together with a detailed accounting of funds
disbursed, including the manner in which net profits are to be
disbursed, together with a statement of the sums disbursed.
