A RESOLUTION WAIVING THE RENTAL FEE FOR THE USE
OF BAYFRONT PARK AUDITORIUM ON MAY 26, 1978, FOR
THE FIRST ANNUAL SANITATION EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION
BALL, SPONSORED BY THE SANITATION EMPLOYEES ASSO-
CIATION, SUBJECT TO PAYMENT FOR EVENT PERSONNEL,
INSURANCE, AND OTHER DIRECT COSTS BORNE BY THE CITY,
AND PROVIDING THAT THE SAID SPONSOR SUBMIT TO THE
CITY MANAGER, WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SUCH
FACILITY USE, A DETAILED ACCOUNTING OF GROSS FUNDS
RECEIVED BY IT BY WAY OF FACILITY ADMISSION FEES
AND FUNDS RAISED IN CONNECTION WITH THE AFORESAID
EVENT, TOGETHER WITH A DETAILED ACCOUNTING OF FUNDS
DISBURSED, INCLUDING THE MANNER IN WHICH NET PROFITS
ARE TO BE DISBURSED, TOGETHER WITH A STATEMENT OF
THE SUMS DISBURSED.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The waiver of the rental fee for the use
of Bayfront Park Auditorium on May 26, 1978, for the First Annual
Sanitation Employees Association Ball, sponsored by the Sanitation
Employees Association is hereby approved, subject to payment for
event personnel, insurance, and other direct costs borne by the City.
Section 2. The said sponsor shall submit to the City
Manager, within 30 days from the date of such facility use, a
detailed accounting of gross funds received by it by way of facil-
ity admission fees and funds raised in connection with the aforesaid
event, together with a detailed accounting of funds disbursed,
including the manner in which net profits are to be disbursed,
together with a statement of the sums disbursed.
