HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-78-0333RESOLUTION NO. 7_.`? :- 3_ 3 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PLAT ENTITLED FLAGSHIP SUBDIVISION, A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA; AND ACCEPTING THE DEDICATIONS SHOWN ON SAID PLAT; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE PLAT. WHEREAS, the City Zoning Board and the Department of Public Works have recommended the acceptance of the plat; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The Plat entitled FLAGSHIP SUBDIVISION being a sub- division of a replat of a portion of PLAT OF LOT 1 OF J. AUSTIN HALL'S SUBDIVISION (4-69) and a portion of PLAT OF J. AUSTIN HALL'S SUB- DIVISION (2-48) and a portion of AMENDED MAP OF BRICKELL'S ADDITION TO THE MAP OF MIAMI (B-113), all lying and being in the City of Miami, Dade County, Florida, which by reference is made a part hereof as if fully incorporated herein and the dedications as shown thereon together with all existing and future planting, trees and shrubbery on said property, to the perpetual use of the public, are hereby accepted and confirmed by the City of Miami, Florida. Section 2. The City Manager and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the Plat. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19 day of MAY 19 78 . Parkes, Director Department of Public Works May 11, 1978 FLAGSHIP SUBDIVISION Resolution Accepting Proposed Record Plat located at Brickell Avenue and S.E. 8th Street (8) The Proposed Record Plat entitled FLAGSHIP SUBDIVISION is a subdivision of a replat of a portion of PLAT OF LOT 1 OF J. AUSTIN HALL'S SUBDIVI- SION (4-69) and a portion of PLAT OF J. AUSTIN HALL'S SUBDIVISION (2-48), and a portion of AMENDED MAP OF BRICKELL'S ADDITION TO THE MAP OF MIAMI (B-113). It will consist of one (1) tract having an area of 1.975± acres. The property is ?oned R-C-1. This plat is being for- warded to your office for City Commission Action. The attached detailed report from the Department of Public Works recommends the approval of the plat by the City Commission of Miami, Florida, and certifies its correctness as to form. Also attached are the following itemized papers necessary to present the Plat to the City Commission of Miami: Resolution accepting the Plat Print of proposed Record Plat Agreement form pertaining to subdivision improvements Opinion of Title Memorandum from the Department of Planning pertaining to landscaping requirements Memorandum from the Miami -Dade Water and Sewer Authority pertaining to water mains and appurtenances Portion of City Atlas Sheet No. 36 showing property platted colored in red WEP : WKB : vh I`SUPP0RTIVE ' r r 7' I ' � ir )J .L.,J tr r 78- 3 33 THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS MAY 11, 1978 REPORT OF PROPOSED RECORD PLAT OF FLAGSHIP SUBDIVISION A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF MIA'MMI, FLORIDA The accompanying Plat entitled FLAGSHIP SUBDIVISION was prepared by Biscayne Engineering. It is in correct form for submission to the City Commission and is forwarded with a recommendation that it be approved. PERTI:!ENT INFORMATION REGARDING THE PLAT: (1) The property platted is a replat of a portion of plat of Lot 1, of J. Austin Hall's Subdivsion (4-69) and a portion of Plat of J. Austin Hall's Subdivision (2-48) and a portion of amended map of Brickell's Addition to the map of Miami (B-113). It will consist of one (1) tract having a total area of 1.975± acres. The property is zoned R-C-1. (2) The location of the streets and the widths conform with the standards of the Department of Public Works of the City of Miami, Florida. (3) As certified to by Yvon LeCaer, Registered Land Surveyor, this Plat complies with the plat filing laws of the State of Florida. (4) The City Planning and Zoning Board of ?Miami, Florida, after Public Hearing, has recommended the closing of Court Place and a 10 foot alley. This action was confirmed by City Commission Resolution No. (5) By authorit;, of Resolution No. , adopted the Plat was recommended for acceptance by the City Zoning Board of Miami. (6) The attached Certificate of Title Examination dated April 17, 1973, signed by David S. Kenin, Attorney, indicates that the fee simple title to the property platted is correctly vested in William B. Erickell and E. Lanc-don Laws - Trustee and Fla:,ship 'Banks, Inc . , holder of a 99 year lease and the Plat has been correctly executed. (7 ) The area platted is not encumbered by mortgages.
