O. r3OX 330708 MIAMI, PL-oRIbA 33i33 April 14, 1978 Dear: 579-6086 The purpose of this letter is to find out if private property owners in the Coconut Grove Village Center have any plans to develop their property for off-street parking, specifically for a parking garage. During the City Commission meeting of April 7, 1978, the administration had recommended to the Commission that authorization be given to seek consultants for a parking feasibility study in the Coconut Grove Village Center with the objectives of a) determining demand for additional spaces; b) recommending sites and c) establishing feasibility for the construction of public parking garages, to be funded by revenue bonds. In response, the Commission decided that this action was premature; that the administration should find out if private property owners were planning to undertake developrnent of their property for off-street parking purposes, including parking garages; thereby eliminating the need for public action. Your property located at is presently utilized for a residence. If you have plans for developing your property as a parking garage, please respond in writing to Mr. Joseph R. Grassie, City Manager, PO Box 330708 Miami, Florida 33133 at your earliest convenience no later than Wednesday, April 19, 1978 expressing your interest.
